Faith in God - in life's every phase - is the foundation for the strong, supportive relationships at our church. We see our church community as a place to worship, learn, be healed and to grow together thru His word. It is a place to find encouragement when weathering a storm, a place to share life's blessings, a place to meet with fellow believers.

I Believe in Jesus
Spread the Good News
Read Luke 2:8–14
God loves this fallen world so much that He sent His Son—Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior—to show us a way out of our mess. Remarkably, God chose to make the announcement of the Messiah’s arrival to sleeping shepherds. Can you imagine their surprise? They weren’t the Wise Men, gifted in astronomy, who wondered about the new light in the heavens. They were common laborers, just doing their job; minding the sheep.
Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people (Luke 2:10).
The angel certainly got their attention, and after the message soaked in, the shepherds headed for Bethlehem to “see this thing that has happened.” The text tells us that it was just the way the angel had described it. After the shepherds witnessed the Christ Child, they spread the word of His birth.
What will it take to get your attention? Have you acknowledged Christ’s provision of salvation? Do you worship the King of kings and Lord of lords? Have you pledged to spread the good news of great joy that is intended for all people?
Challenge for Today: Tell people you meet today that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, will forgive all of their wrongdoing if they ask Him.
Devotional brought to you by God's Word For Today.
